Shakedown at Crosland Moor Airfield
The Team took HARE-15 up to Crossland Moor Airfield for the first shakedown of the year. Luckily, the snowy conditions didn't deteriorate and the Team were able to make the most of quite a clear and sunny afternoon up on the Moors. Team Leader Tom took to the runway initially and the Team ran several running checks on the car throughout the day; validating their work on both the shifter system as well as the newly installed lightweight driveshafts. To the teams delight, they suffered no real issues with the car and simply had to re-pressurize the on-board shifting system on the day. For the final few runs of the day, new driver Ollie got a chance to drive and his racing experience clearly showed as it took him no time to get to grips with the car.
